Managing Users & Roles
What is a Role?
A Role defines a set of permissions that control what a user can view and perform within DTShop.
Instead of assigning permissions individually to each user, roles allow you to:
- Standardize access control
- Simplify user management
- Ensure consistent security policies
What is a User?
A user is an individual account within your organization that can access DTShop.
Each user:
- Is assigned a role
- Inherits permissions from that role
- Can only access features allowed by their assigned permissions
Accessing User Management
- Navigate to Settings from the left sidebar
- Click Access Control
You will see:
- Users List (all users in your organization)
- Roles Management options
