The Look Up endpoint are designed to enhance the discovery of mobile products by resolving mobile phone numbers to their respective mobile operators. This is achieved using DT One's proprietary algorithm and logic. The service plays a vital role in reducing failed transactions by validating the MSISDN and identifying the correct operator.
💡 It's important to offer end users the option to make a final operator selection. In rare instances, the results returned from a lookup request may not reflect the most current information, especially if there has been a recent porting of the mobile number to a new operator. This additional step ensures accuracy and improves the overall user experience.
